Description
My feeders are getting visits from some young summer tanagers. This guy seems to be the youngest going by his color. He is a mottled red, orange and yellow. In the next stage, he will turn red with brown wings. Mature male summer tanagers are a solid red. They are such pretty birds no matter age.
